Finance Manager - Norway
« Work closely with the Norwegian Country manager and the Operations Manager as a valued member of the company management team.
« Perform monthly closing process and ensure timely submission of financial statements
« Ensure management accounting is performed in accordance with U.S. GAAP
« Ensure statutory accounting is performed according to local accounting standards and tax legislation with the assistance of external advisors.
« Ensure the Group Chart of Accounts is consistently applied
« Manage relationships with appropriate external constituents
« Ensure compliance with local statutory and legal filing requirements
« Provide standardized monthly, quarterly and annual reporting package inclusive of variance analysis versus prior year and plan for the Region Finance Manager and European HQ
« Discuss financial results with Operational Manager, Country Manager and Region Finance Manager
« Manage annual business plan process- Income Statement and Balance Sheet and play an active role in coordinating other functions (Sales and Operations) to ensure information deadlines are met in a timely fashion and appropriate quality is delivered
« Provide Forecasting of Income Statement and Balance Sheet to comply with Corporate reporting.
« Manage and Drive down Working Capital across all Business units
« Ensure the finance and accounting team is sufficiently trained in the use of company financial systems
« Support and lead execution of any other corporate initiatives (e.g., Cost out, Payroll, transfer pricing, etc.)
« Develop and manage a high-performing accounting team. The team will have to ensure proper accounting and finance support for all company operations, including basic functions such as recording all transactions, implementing control procedures, calculating sales commissions, cash and treasury management, forecasting and controlling expenses, preparing account analyses and reconciliations, manage monthly and yearly closing processes, tax declarations, budget preparations, regular financial reports, etc.
« Oversee day to day smooth completion of accounting tasks.
« Oversee credit control department.
« Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.
« Comply with all local and Corporate requirements
« 4/5 years of experience in a multinational company with increased responsibilities in Accounting/Controlling
« Direct experience with a top-tier ERP system (Oracle preferred) will be considered an additional advantage
« Self motivated, proactive and with strong analytical skills
« Experience in managing a team
« Good team player with strong interpersonal skills coupled with strong coaching skills
« Ability to operate effectively in a deadline oriented environment while managing multiple activities
