Supply Chain Manager



Role: Supply Chain Manager<br><br>Location: Staffordshire / Midlands<br><br>Salary: £40,000 - 47,000 + benefits<br><br>Leading Systems Engineering organisation is looking for a talented Supply Chain Manager to join its growing business. <br><br>As Supply Chain Manager you will lead the Materials Control Department which is responsible for the price negotiation, contract agreement and purchase of all goods, materials and services for the business. It is the role of the Supply Chain Manager to manage the Materials Control Team in order to purchase materials and services for the business at the most favourable terms and within cost and programme timescales and targets. <br><br>Candidates will be able to demonstrate the following requirements:<br><br>*Previous experience in senior supply chain or procurement role and in line management. <br>*Background in electronics and electromechanical manufacturing. *Experience in working with product having a high technical content manufactured in low volume, high value batch production environment. *Experience with change management and setting up new procurement systems. *Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles. *You will be a CIPS Corporate Member or equivalent, a good communicator, well organised, approachable, resilient and an effective manager of people.<br><br>Security Clearance will be requirement for the successful candidate along with a Full current UK Driving licence.
