Our client, a prestigious precision engineering company based in Wolverhampton, are seeking a Fitter/ Tester to compliment their already established team.

You will be required to assemble and test a range of new and refurbished commercial and military projects to engineering drawings and instructions. The ideal candidate will be trained/ qualified in a recognised mechanical/ hydraulic engineering discipline plus:
- demonstrate proven hands on knowledge in the building and repair of equipment along with good solid understanding of a range of assembley techniques ranging from light bench work through to heavy fabrication
- able to work on own initiative to engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics and instructions
- flexible attitude towards changing work requirements and travel
- have a good understanding of safe working practices

It would be advantageous to have pipe fitting, machining or welding and fabrication skills.
